“ܠܟܠ ܐܢܫ ܡܿܢ ܓܠܝܐ ܕܡܠܚܐ ܠܘ ܗ̣ܝ ܠܗܿ ܣܢܝܩܐ ܠܡܡܕܟܘ̣. ܡܛܠ ܕܗܿܝ ܒܟܝܢܗܿ ܡܡܕܟܬܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܿ.” 1

“Après une période de vingt-cinq ans dans cette course, il termina cette vie de tourments et partit vers le repos de son Seigneur, en ayant confié le lieu de subsistance des nécessiteux aux moines de son monastère et leur avoir ordonné de toujours en tirer de quoi fournir les nécessiteux comme pendant sa vie.” 1
