ܠܝ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܗܿܝ ܕܠܣܗ̈ܕܐ ܐܩܠܣ̣. ܘܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܡܬܚܙܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܝܬܝܪ ܡܘܬܪܢܐ. ܡܐܠܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܦ ܗ̣ܝ ܗܿܝ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܕܢܬܥܗܕ ܠܣܗ̈ܕܐ̣. ܝܘܬܪܢܐ ܗܿܘ ܕܝܬܝܪ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܪܒ ܚܫܿܒ ܐܢܐ ܕܡܝܬܝܐ̣. ܘܕܐܦܠܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܡܐܡܪ ܕܟܡܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ. 1
Il me semble qu’il n’y a rien de plus utile que de faire l’éloge des martyrs, ou plutôt je crois que la seule commémoration des martyrs apporte un avantage plus grand que tout et que l’on ne peut mesurer. 1
