ܣܗܕܬܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܝܬܐ ܦܐܠܐܓܝܐ̣. ܟܕ ܢܨܝܚܬܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܗܘܬ ܒܓܢܣܐ̣. ܡܩܢܝܢܐ ܕܡܪ̈ܗܛܐ: ܘܒܚܙܘܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܕܦܓܪܐ̣. ܐܓܘܢܐ ܥܦܝܦܐ ܐܬܟܬܫܬ. 1
Alors que la puissante martyre Pélagie était d’une famille illustre, propriétaire de biens et d’une belle apparence corporelle, elle mena un double combat. 1
