“ܐܬܐ ܒܙܒܢ ܐܒܐ ܡܩܪܝܣ ܡܨܪܝܐ ܡܢ ܐܣܩܝܛܝ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܢܛܝܪܐ: ܠܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܐܒܐ ܦܡܒܘ.”1 “Abbâ Macaire l’Égyptien vint une fois de Scété à la montagne de Nitrie pour l’offrande d’abba Pambô.”1
