“ܐܠܐ ܩܕܡܝܬ ܙܕܿܩ ܗܘ ܠܢ ܠܡܐܡܪ: ܕܒܐܝܢܐ ܙܢܐ ܗܘܐ ܬܘܠܡܕܗܿ ܕܗܕܐ ܣܗܕܬܐ ܩܕܝܫܬܐ: ܕܒܚܢܦܘܬܗܿ ܝܙܕܘܝ: ܘܒܡܘܠܕܗܿ ܚܕܬܐ ܕܣܝܡܬ ܒܢܝ̈ܐ ܠܪܗܒܘܢ ܚܝ̈ܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܝܘܬܘܬܐ: ܓܒܬ ܠܗܿ ܕܬܫܬܡܗ ܟܪܣܛܝܢܐ: ܫܘܡܗܐ ܕܠܐ ܥܒܪ.”1 “Mais tout d’abord il nous faut dire comment fut l’enseignement de cette sainte martyre qui, quand elle était païenne, s’appelait Yazdouy, et qui, dans sa nouvelle naissance de l’adoption gage de vie, choisit de s’appeler Christine, dénomination qui ne passe pas.”1
