“ܐܚ̈ܝ ܬܘ ܢܣܩ ܠܗ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܠܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܚܝܠܢܐ ܕܪ̈ܚܡܘܗܝ: ܘܡܢܨܚܢܐ ܕܩܕܝܫܘ̈ܗܝ.”1 “Venez, frères, rendons gloire au Christ qui fortifie ses amis et fait vaincre ses saints.”1

“ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܕܝܢ ܛܘܗܡܗ ܘܓܢܣܗ ܡܢ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܒܠܫܦܪ: ܩܪܝܬܗ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܒܝܬ ܓܠܠܝ̈ܐ: ܗܝܿ ܕܠܢܗܪܐ ܬܘܪܡܪܐ ܩܪܝܒܐ.”1 “Sa souche et sa famille étaient de la région de Bleshpar, et son village était Beyt-Gallayé, près du fleuve Tourmarâ.”1
