"ܒܝܪܚ ܟܢܘܢ ܩܕܡ: ܒܐܪܒܥܣܪܐ ܒܗ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܢܐ: ܣܗ̈ܕܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܓܦܛܝ̈ܐ ܩܕܡ ܬܪ̈ܥܝܗܿ ܕܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܐܫܩܠܘܢ ܐܬܠܒܟܘ."1 "Le quatorze Kanôn I, ce même jour des martyrs de Dieu égyptiens furent pris devant les portes de la ville d’Ascalon."1
