“ܐܢܗܘ ܕܕܗܝܟܠܐ ܗܿܘ ܕܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ: ܠܗܿܘ ܕܒܢܝܗܝ ܡܿܢ ܚܟܝܡܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ̣. ܩܕܡ ܕܝܢ ܛܦܣܗ ܪܘܚܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܗܿܘ ܕܡܠܠ ܒܢܒܝܐ ܕܘܝܕ: ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܒܟܬܒܐ ܗܿܘ ܕܚܣܝܪ̈ܬܐ ܣܝܡܐ ܬܫܥܝܬܐ: ܥܐܕܐ ܕܚܕܘ̈ܬܐ ܡܚܓܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܗܿܢܘܢ ܩܕܡ̈ܝܐ̣. ܐܝܟܢܐ ܠܘ ܝܬܝܪ ܙܕܩܐܝܬ ܚܢܢ ܠܗܢܐ ܚܓܐ ܢܩܝܡ. ܥܠ ܨܠܝܒܐ ܡܝܩܪܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܦܪܘܩܐ ܕܝܠܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ.”

“Si pour le temple à Jérusalem, que construisit le sage Salomon et que préfigura l’Esprit Saint qui parla par le prophète David, selon l’histoire indiquée dans le livre des Praralipomènes, les anciens célébraient la fête de la Dédicac, comment ne ferions-nous pas cette célébration pour la Croix précieuxe de notre Dieu et Sauveur Jésus-Christ?”
