ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܕܘܒ̈ܪܐ ܐܠܗ̈ܝܐ ܠܐܚܪ̈ܢܐ ܡܚܦܛܝܢ ܠܡܫܬܥܝܘ: ܙܕܿܩ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܩܕܡܝܐܝܬ ܢܡܪܘܢ ܒܗܘܢ. ܘܕܡܘܬܐ ܠܐܚܪ̈ܢܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ. ܐܝܟ ܡܠܬܐ ܐܠܗܝܬܐ ܕܐܡܪܐ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܢܢܗܪ ܢܘܗܪܟܘܢ ܩܕܡ ܒܢܝ̈ܢܫܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܢܚܙܘܢ ܥܒ̈ܕܝܟܘܢ ܛ̈ܒܐ ܘܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܠܐܒܘܟܘܢ ܕܒܫܡܝܐ. 1
Ceux qui s’appliquent à raconter aux autres la vie divine doivent tout d’abord l’imiter et devenir exemple pour les autres, selon la parole divine qui dit: «Que votre lumière brille devant les hommes de sorte qu’ils voient vos bonnes actions et louent votre Père qui est au ciel.» 1

ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܝ̈ܘܡܝ ܝܘܣܛܝܢܘܣ ܡܠܟܐ ܙܟܝܐ ܐܬܘܥܕܘ ܡܗܝ̈ܡܢܐ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܦܢ̈ܝܢ ܕܢܣܓܕܘܢ ܒܕܘ̈ܟܝܬܐ ܩܕܝܫ̈ܬܐ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܒܥܕܥܐܕܐ ܪܒܐ ܘܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܪܘܡܪܡܗ ܕܨܠܝܒܐ ܙܟܝܐ. 1
Et il advint aux jours de l’empereur victorieux Justin que furent désignés de toutes les parties du monde des fidèles pour adorer dans les lieux saints du Christ dans la ville de Jérusalem, lors de la grande et sainte fête de l’exaltation de la Croix victorieuse. 1

Ainsi donc, mes bien-aimés, ne jugeons personne jusqu’à ce que vienne notre Seigneur qui révélera les secrets des hommes. Mais que chacun regarde en lui-même et ??? lui-même et qu’il ne juge que cela, car chacun recevra salaire selon sa peine et il porte sa charge sur son épaule et recevra payement selon sa peine du Roi céleste, notre Seigneur, notre Sauveur et notre vivificateur, notre Dieu… Amen. 1
