"ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܝܡܐ ܕܚܟܡ̈ܬܐ ܘܡܒܘܥܐ ܕܦܪܘܫܘܬܐ: ܗܿܘ ܕܐܬܗܝܡܢ ܡܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܢܬܠ ܠܒܢܝܢ̈ܫܐ ܦܘܪܢܣ ܚܝܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܕܒܐܠܗܐ̣. ܡܢ ܥܘܡܪܗ ܕܩܕܝܫܐ ܪܒܢ ܗܘܪܡܝܙܕ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ."1 "Cette mer de sagesses et fontaine de prudence, à qui il fut confié par le Seigneur d’administrer la vie des hommes en Dieu, était du couvent de saint Rabban Hôrmîzd."1
