“ܐܚܝ̈: ܒܟܠ ܐܬܪ ܘܒܟܠ ܡܕܝܢܐ ܣܗ̈ܕܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܫܬܠܚܘ: ܕܢܣܒܪܘܢ ܩܝܡܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝ̈ܬܐ.” 1
“Mes frères, en toute région et en toute ville les martyrs de Dieu ont été envoyés pour annoncer la résurrection du Christ d’entre les morts.” 1

“ܐܬܘ ܕܝܢ ܒܥܝܕܗܘܢ ܐܦ ܠܣܒܣܛܝܐ. ܟܕ ܐܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܚܕܐ ܢܦܫ ܘܚܕ ܪܥܝܢ ܒܟܠ ܡܕܡ. ܐܘܕܥܘܗܝ ܕܝܢ ܠܐܓܪܝܩܠܐܘܣ ܕܘܟܣ ܕܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܘܠܢܡܘ̈ܣܐ ܕܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܠܐ ܫܠܡܝܢ.” 1
“Selon leur habitude ils vinrent à Sébaste, ayant une seule âme et un seul esprit en toute chose; ils firent savoir au duc Agrikolaos qu’ils étaient chrétiens et ne respectaient pas les lois des rois.” 1
