“ܚܝܠܐ ܕܡܠܠ ܒܐܬܢܐ. ܘܐܪܕܝ ܡܝ̈ܐ ܡܢ ܛܪܢܐ. ܘܐܫܩܝ ܠܥܡܐ ܡܡܪܡܪܢܐ. ܐܪܕܐ ܒܪ̈ܚܡܝܟ ܫܩܝܐ ܚܝܐ. ܠܦܘܝܓܗ ܕܡܕܥܝ ܨܗܝܐ. ܕܐܡܠܠ ܒܝܕ ܥܘܕܪܢܟ. ܥܠ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܫܘܫܒܝܢܟ.” 1
“Force qui a parlé par l’ânesse, qui de la roche a fait couler de l’eau et a fait boire le peuple entêté, fais couler par ta miséricorde une boisson vivante, pour raffraîchir mon intelligence assoiffée, pour que je parle avec ton aide de Jean ton garçon d’honneur.” 1
