“ܗܢܐ ܡܪܝ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܢܦܬܪܝܐ. ܒܓܢܣܗ ܡܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܚܕܝܒ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܐܪܒܝܠ ܡܢ ܢܦܬܪܝܐ ܩܪܝܬܐ.” 1
“Ce Mâr Abraham de Naftar était, par sa famille, d’Adiabène, du pays d’Arbèles, du village de Naftar.” 1
