ܗܢܐ ܡܪܝ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܢܦܬܪܝܐ. ܒܓܢܣܗ ܡܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܚܕܝܒ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܐܪܒܝܠ ܡܢ ܢܦܬܪܝܐ ܩܪܝܬܐ. 1
Ce Mâr Abraham de Naftar était, par sa famille, d’Adiabène, du pays d’Arbèles, du village de Naftar. 1

ܘܐܙܠ ܥܩܪ ܠܓܠܘܣܩܡܗ ܕܡܪܝ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܡܢ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ. ܘܐܝܬܝܗ ܒܙܘܚܐ ܘܒܐܝܩܪܐ ܪܡܐ ܠܚܕܝܒ. ܘܐܬܬܣܝܡ ܒܗܝܟܠܐ ܕܣܡ ܡܪܝ ܐܝܘܒ ܒܡܥܪܬܗ ܒܕܝܪܗ. 1
Et il alla retirer le cercueil de Mâr Abraham d’où il était, et il l’emmena en procession avec grand honneur en Adiabène et il fut placé dans le temple que Mâr Job avait placé dans une caverne du monastère. 1
