“ܒܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܪܫܝܥܐ ܘܥܘܠܐ ܡܟܣܝܡܝܢܘܣ ܥܡܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܐܡܣܪ ܗܘܐ ܥܠ ܚܝ̈ܐ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܡܛܠ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܠܘܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܡܠܟ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢܝܢ ܒܗ...”1 “Durant le règne de l’impie et méchant Maximin, beaucoup de monde méprisa la vie de ce siècle pour la foi en Dieu et le Royaume qu’a promis notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ à ceux qui croiraient en lui…”1
