“ܩܡ ܒܬܪܗ ܕܥܒܕ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܛܘܒܢܐ ܚܝܪܢ ܕܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܐܪ̈ܡܝܐ.”1 “Après Ebed-Mshîhâ se leva le bienheureux Hîran, qui était du Beyt Aramayé.”1

“ܟܕ ܒܗܕܐ ܟܟܪܗ ܪܘܚܢܝܬܐ ܦܠܚ ܫ̈ܢܝܐ ܣܓܝ̈ܐܬܐ: ܘܐܝܟ ܕܠܝ ܡܬܚܙܝܐ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܘܬܠܬ ܫܢܝ̈ܢ ܡܝܬ ܒܣܝܒܘܬܐ ܥܡܝܩܬܐ. ܘܗܐ ܡܬܢܛܪ ܠܗ ܟܠܝܠܐ ܕܙܟܘܬܐ ܕܥܬܝܕ ܕܢܬܠ ܠܗ ܗܘܿ ܕܝܢܐ ܕܟܐܢܘܬܐ.”1 “Quand il eut servi dans son talent spirituel pendant de nombreuses années — trente-trois ans à ce qu’il me semble — il mourut à un âge avancé; et voilà que lui est réservée la couronne de la victoire que va lui donner le juge de justice.”1
