“ܐܰܬܪܐ ܗܘ ܕܥܰܠ ܢܗܰܪ ܢܒܘܪܐܝܟܐ ܕܢܳܣܶܟ ܒܰܦܪܳܬ. ܚܪܶܒ ܘܐܝܬ ܒܕܘܟܬܗ ܩܪܝܬܳܐ ܕܡܶܬܐܡܰܪ ܠܳܗ̇ ܐܰܒܘܣܰܪܰܐܝ (ܒܨܝܪܗ̈) ” 2
“بلد على نهر الخابور عند مصبه في الفرات خرب وفي موضعه قرية ابو سراي (بصيرة).” 3
“a town near the place where the Khabur joins the Euphrates; it no longer exists. On its site lies the village of Abu Saray (Busayra).” 4
