“ܟܘܪܳܐ ܗܘܳܬ ܡܶܢ ܟܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܰܚܡܶܨ. ܕܪܰܚܝܩܐ ܡܶܢܗ̇ ܫܬܳܐ ܦܰܪ̈ܣܚܐ ܠܓܰܒܐ ܕܕܰܪܡܣܘܩ. ܒܶܝܬ ܛܘܪ̈ܝ ܠܶܒܢܳܢ ܘܰܣܢܝܪ ܘܝܰܘܡܳܢ ܩܪܺܝܬܐ ܐܝܺܬܝܗ̇ ܐܶܬܚܰܕܬܰܬ ܒܓܶܒ ܓܘܣܝܗ ܥܰܬܝܩܬܐ.”1
“كورة كانت من كور حمص على ستة فراسخ منها من جهة دمشق بين جبلي لبنان وسنير؛ وهي في وقتنا قرية استحدثت بجوار مدينة جوسية القديمة”2
