“كانت مدينة عامرة بين ماردين والرها مسافة مرحلتين عن الاولى. وهي اليوم بليدة يقال لها ويران شهر”3
A town east of Edessa and west of Mardin.
“once a flourishing town between Mardin and Edessa, about two leagues from Mardin. Today it is a small village called Wayran Shahr.”4
