In hagiography: Aḥa the solitary of Resh ʿAyna was a soldier in the Persian army; later he founded a monastery near Nisibis, traveled on extensive pilgrimages, and returned with a piece of the true cross. He converted a village of pagan Armenians. A Chaldean copy from 1903 of the legend of Aḥḥa, according to the codex Vat. xxxvn, belongs to the library of the Couvent de Notre Dame des Moissons today in Baghdad. 4Status: incomplete
