"ܐܒܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝ ܓܐܘܪܓܝܣ ܓܘܪܕܝܢܘܣ ܡܬܩܪܐ ܗܘܐ ܘܡܢ ܩܦܘܕܩܝܐ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ."1 "Le père de Mâr Georges s’appelait Gordien et était de la ville de Cappadoce."1
