"ܒܫܢܬ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܘܬܫܥ ܠܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܝܘܢ̈ܝܐ. ܒܐܝܪܚ ܚܙܝܪܢ ܒܝܘܡ ܐܪܒܥܬܐ ܒܗ. ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܚܕ ܒܫܒܐ ܘܫܘܠܡܐ ܕܦܢܛܩܣܛܐ. ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܐܬܘ ܬܠܡ̈ܝܕܐ ܡܢ ܢܨܪܬ ܕܓܠܝܠܐ ܡܢ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܐܣܬܒܪ ܒܛܢܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܙܝ̈ܬܐ. ܟܕ ܡܪܢ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܬܚܙܐ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܠܗܘܢ."1 "En l’an 39 (c.-à-d. 339) du règne des Grecs, le 4 Hazîran qui était un dimanche et la fin de la Pentecôte, ce même jour les disciples vinrent de Nazareth en Galilée, d’où fut annoncée la conception de notre Seigneur, à la montagne appelée des Oliviers."1
