“ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܡܟܪܙܘ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܕܙܕܩܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܿ. ܘܠܡܟܪܙܘ ܥܒܕܘ̈ܗܝ ܬܡܝ̈ܗܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܠܚܡܐ ܘܕܫܦܝܪ ܐܝܬ ܠܗܿ ܡܬܚܙܝܐ.”1 1
“Il faut en tout temps proclamer la gloire de Dieu et il semble beau et bon de proclamer ses actions admirables.”1 1

“ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܙܒܢ̈ܐ ܗܿܢܘܢ ܕܡܠܟ̈ܐ ܡܗܝܡܢ̈ܐ ܓܪܛܝܢܘܣ ܘܘܠܢܛܝܢܝܢܘܣ̣. ܓܒܪܐ ܚܕ ܒܡܕܝܢܬ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܩܘܣܛܢܛܝܢܘܦܘܠܝܣ ܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܡܿܢ ܘܕܿܚܠ ܠܐܠܗܐ̣. ܕܒܕܘܒܪ̈ܐ ܫܒܝ̈ܚܐ ܢܨܝܚܐ ܗܘܐ.”1 1
“Au temps des rois croyants Gratien et Valentinien, il y avait dans la capitale de l’Empire Constantinople un homme croyant et craignant Dieu, qui s’illustrait par une vie digne de louange.”1 1

“Comme il était convenable pour eux, ils les escortèrent et ils les enterrèrent avec l’honneur qui leur était dû et ils les placèrent ensemble dans le même cercueil selon l’ordre de l’higoumène. Qu’à leurs prières et à celles de tous les saints le Seigneur nous juge tous dignes de lui plaire par une bonne vie, de trouver miséricorde devant lui au jour de sa grande manifestation, de trouver notre joie dans son grand royaume, de nous réjouir dans son illustre chambre nuptiale, de lui rendre grâce et de le louer avec tous ses saints pour les siècles des siècles.
