"ܟܕ ܢܨܝܚܐ ܚܿܙܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܢܘܫܝܐ ܕܝܠܟܘܢ ܚܿܕܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܿܢ ܘܪܘܿܙ ܐܢܐ ܒܢܦܫܝ. ܠܐ ܕܝܢ ܝܕܿܥ ܐܢܐ ܒܪܡ ܐܢ ܐܢܫ ܡܢܟܘܢ. ܗܒܘ ܠܝ ܓܝܪ ܕܥܡ ܫܘܒܩܢܐ ܐܿܡܪ. ܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܕܫܘܿܝܐ ܢܣܒ. ܠܚܓܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܩܪܝܒ."1 "En voyant votre illustre assemblée, je me réjouis et j’exulte intérieurement, mais je ne sais pas si l’un d’entre vous — permettez-moi de parler avec indulgence — a reçu un esprit digne de la présente fête."1
