"ܛܘܒܢܐ ܕܝܕܘܪܘܣ: ܟܕ ܩܕܡܝܬ ܐܬܪܕܝ ܒܟܠܗ ܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܕܦܝܠܣܘܦܘܬܐ̣. ܐܠܐ ܡܢ ܕܐܬܩܪܒ ܠܟܪܣܛܝܢܘܬܐ̣. ܐܬܢܩܦ ܠܛܘܒܢܐ ܣܠܘܢܘܣ ܐܦܣܩܘܦܐ ܕܛܪܣܘܣ."1 "Le bienheureux Diodore, d’abord élevé dans toute la doctrine de la philosophie, après qu’il se fut approché du christianisme, s’attacha au bienheureux Sylvain, évêque de Tarse."1
