"ܣܓܝ̈ܐܬܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܚ̈ܦܛܝܢ ܠܝ ܝܘܡܢܐ. ܕܠܘܬ ܡܫܡܥܬܐ ܕܝܠܟܘܢ ܪܚܿܡܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܡܠܠ. ܘܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ. ܡܛܠ ܕܐܫܬܩܕ ܒܗܢܐ ܝܘܡܐ ܕܩܪܝܒ. ܩܡܢܢ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ."1 "Nombreuses sont les choses qui nous exhortent aujourd’hui à parler à votre oreille amie de Dieu, et surtout parce que l’an dernier, en ce jour présent, nous avons été institué à votre tête."1
