"ܡܬܚܫܒ ܐܢܐ̣. ܕܟܐܢܐܝܬ ܢܟܬܘܒ ܥܠܝܢ ܛܠܘܡܘܬܐ. ܫܦܝܪ ܙܟܘܬܐ ܣܗܕܐ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܘܡܛܝܘܣ. ܐܢ ܐܦ ܒܫܬܩܐ ܢܥܒܪܝܘܗܝ. ܟܕ ܠܐ ܣܟ ܐܙܝܥܢܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܠܫܢܐ ܡܩܠܣܢܐ."1 "Je me disais que que le victorieux martyr Domèce nous accuserait à bon droit d’ingratitude, si nous le passions sous silence, sans avoir mû pour lui une langue louangeuse."1
