"ܠܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܗܘܬ ܕܠܝܠܐ ܕܕܠܐ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܐܢܫ ܠܫܪܒܐ ܕܬܫܥܝܬܗ ܕܛܘܒܢܐ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܢܬܩܪܒ. ܗܿܝ ܕܥܿܒܪܐ ܗܝ ܠܗܠ ܡܢ ܟܠܗ ܡܬܚܐ ܕܬܚܘܡܐ ܕܬܫܥܝܬܐ̣. ܘܪܡ ܗܘ ܫܪܒܗ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܡ̈ܠܝܢ ܘܡܢ ܟܘܠ ܗܘ̈ܢܝܢ."1 "Il n’est facile pour personne de s’approcher sans crainte du récit de l’histoire du bienheureux Jacques, car elle dépasse toute dimension de la limite de l’histoire et son récit est plus élevé que toute parole et toute pensée."1
