Voilà, mon Seigneur, nous nous trouvons dans un combat entre tes souffrances et tes triomphes, car si ta souffrance nous a attristés, ton triomphe nous a de nouveau réjouis; ton nom a été plus illustre que ta souffrance.

Celui qui offre une couronne au roi reçoit un cadeau de roi; que ta vengeance, Seigneur, ne me saisisse pas; déchire la lettre de créance de ton serviteur qui a tressé une couronne pour ton serviteur.
