"ܐܝܬ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܣܒܐ ܚܕ ܕܐܝܬܝܒ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܒܩܠܝܬܐ ܕܝܠܗ: ܘܥܡܿܠ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܥܡ̈ܠܐ ܪܘܪ̈ܒܐ."1 "Il y avait un vieillard qui était assis dans sa cellule, et accomplissait de grands labeurs ascétiques."1
