                    ܐܬܢܣܝܘܣ: ܪܫ ܐܦܣ̈ܩܘܦܐ ܕܐܠܟܣܢܕܪܝܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ: ܐܬܬܣܪܚ ܒܫܢܬ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܩܘܣܛܢܛܝܢܘܣ ܪܒܐ: ܕܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܫܬܡܐܐ ܘܬܠܬܝܢ ܘܫܬ ܕܝܘ̈ܢܝܐ: ܕܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܫܢܬܐ ܕܬܠܬܡܐܐ ܘܥܣܪܝܢ ܕܒܬܪ ܡܐܬܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܢ.
                
                
                    Athanase était archevêque d’Alexandrie; il fut ordonné l’an 20 du règne de Constantin le Grand, qui est l’an 636 des Grecs, qui est l’an 320 après la venue de notre Seigneur.
                
                
                    ܘܡܚܕܐ ܒܗܿ ܒܫܢܬܐ ܗܝܿ ܐܫܠܡ ܪܘܚܗ ܠܐܠܗܐ: ܘܥܢܕ ܒܫܢܬ ܫܬܡܐܐ ܘܫܒܥܝܢ ܘܐܪܒܥ ܕܝܘ̈ܢܝܐ. ܕܘܟܪܢܗ ܠܒܘܪܟܬܐ: ܘܨܠܘܬܗ ܥܡܢ.
                
                
                    Et aussitôt cette année-là, il remit son esprit à Dieu et il mourut en l’an 674 des Grecs. Que sa mémoire soit une bénédiction et que sa prière soit avec nous.
