ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܕܘܩܠܝܛܝܢܘܣ ܡܠܟܐ ܘܕܡܟܣܝܡܝܢܘܣ: ܗܘܐ ܪܕܘܦܝܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܪ̈ܣܛܝܢܐ ܕܒܟܠ ܐܬܪ. ܘܒܗ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܗܘܿ ܐܫܬܟܚ ܐܢܫ: ܕܫܡܗ ܠܐܘܢܛܝܘܣ: ܦܠܚܐ ܫܪܝܪܐ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ. 1
Au temps du règne de l’empereur Dioclétien et de Maximien, il y eut une persécution contre tous les chrétiens en tout lieu. Et en ce temps-là il se trouva un homme dont le nom était Léonce, vrai serviteur du Christ. 1

Et voilà que des miracles et des merveilles sont accomplis tous les jours par ses ossements. Saint Léonce fut couronné le 18 Hazîran. Que par ses prières… Amen. 1
