"ܒܫܢܬ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܕܘܪܗܪܢ ܡܠܟܐ ܦܪܣܝܐ: ܣܗܕܘܬܗ ܕܛܘܒܢܐ ܡܗܪܫܒܘܪ ܡܬܚܬܡܐ ܗܘ̣ܬ: ܗܢܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܒܓܢܣܗ ܝܕܝܥܐ: ܘܒܛܘܗܡܗ ܪܫܢܐ."1 "La deuxième année de Bahram roi de Perse, fut achevé le martyre du bienheureux Méharshabour, qui était d’une famille connue et dirigeante."1
