“ܩܕܡܝܐ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܣܗ̈ܕܐ ܩܕܝ̈ܫܐ: ܗܢܿܘܢ ܕܒܦܠܣܛܝܢܐ ܐܬܢܨܚܘ: ܦܪܘܩܘܦܝܘܣ ܛܘܒܢܐ ܐܬܟܠܠ. ܒܫܪܪܐ: ܒܪܢܫܐ ܐܠܗܝܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘ̣ܐ. ܡܛܠ ܕܐܦ ܩܕܡ ܡܘܕܝܢܘܬܗ: ܠܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܚܝܘ̈ܗܝ ܐܫܠܡ ܗܘ̣ܐ.”

“Parmi tous les saints martyrs qui brillèrent en Palestine, le premier à être couronné fut le bienheureux Procope. C’était vraiment un homme de Dieu, car dès avant sa confession il livra sa vie à une grande endurance.”
