“Et aussi ceux qui étaient tentés par des esprits mauvais venaient là en criant: «Qu’y a-t-il entre toi et nous, Eupraxie, servante du Christ?» et ainsi ils étaient guéris. Voilà la vie et les exploits d’Eupraxie, qui vraiment garda sa virginité sans tache pour le Christ son époux. Nous aussi, peinons pour lui garder notre âme et notre corps dans la pureté, pour que nous désirions ardemment notre beauté et que nous soyons jugés dignes de sa chambre nuptiale alors que brûlent les lampes par nos bonnes actions, et que nous fassions monter ver lui la gloire… Amen.”
