"ܠܝܘܡ ܕܘܟܪܢܗ ܕܣܗܕܐ ܙܗܝܐ ܘܩܕܝܫܐ ܡܪܝ ܓܝܘܪܓܝܣ ܡܝܩܪܢ ܥܕ̈ܬܐ. ܘܒܨܠܘܬܗ ܡܬܓܘܣܢ ܒܟܠܥܕܢ̈ܝܢ. ܘܠܡܪܗ ܒܡܨܥܝܘܬܗ ܩܥ̈ܝܢ ܘܐܡܪ̈ܢ."1 "Les Églises honorent le jour de la mémoire du martyr pur et saint Mâr Georges, elles se réfugient dans sa prière en tout temps et crient et disent à son Seigneur par son intercession."1
