ܐܢܬܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܛܘܒܢܝܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܒܐܓܒܛܘܣ. ܕܫܡܗܿ ܗܘܐ ܐܢܣܝܡܐ. ܕܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܗܘܬ ܒܪܬ ܡܠܟܐ. ܘܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܐܒ̈ܗܝܗܿ ܚܡܫܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܡ̈ܕܝܢܢ ܒܥܠܡܐ. 1
Il y avait en Égypte une bienheureuse femme qui s’appelait Onésima; elle était fille du roi et ses parents avaient quinze villes dans le monde. 1
