ܐܢܬܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܛܘܒܢܝܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܒܐܓܒܛܘܣ. ܕܫܡܗܿ ܗܘܐ ܐܢܣܝܡܐ. ܕܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܗܘܬ ܒܪܬ ܡܠܟܐ. ܘܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܐܒ̈ܗܝܗܿ ܚܡܫܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܡ̈ܕܝܢܢ ܒܥܠܡܐ. 1
Il y avait en Égypte une bienheureuse femme qui s’appelait Onésima; elle était fille du roi et ses parents avaient quinze villes dans le monde. 1

Et personne ne sut où elle était allée et où elle reposa ne fut pas connu des hommes. Et voilà que sa mémoire est transmise jusqu’à la venue du Fils de Dieu; à lui et à son Père… pour les siècles. 1
