"ܐܒܘܗܝ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܟܘܚܝܠ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܕܥܠ ܢܗܪܐ ܕܩܠܬ ܗܕܐ ܕܡܬܝܕܥܐ ܝܘܡܢ ܡܫܗܕ ܟܘܚܠ. ܘܐܡܗ ܡܢ ܒܠܕ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ."1 "Son père était du village de Kôhayl sur le fleuve Tigre, village connu aujourd’hui comme Mashhad Kôhel, et sa mère était de Balad."1
