"ܐܬܚܫܒܬ ܒܙܒܢ ܕܐܣܩ ܠܕܝܪܐ ܕܐܒܘܢ ܙܝܢܘܢ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܙܝܢܝ ܘܐܥܡܪ ܬܡܢ ܩܝܛܐ ܚܕ: ܗܿܝ ܕܐܦ ܥܒܕܬ. ܘܒܚܕ ܡܢ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܟܕ ܐܝܬܝ ܬܡܢ ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܕܢܦܩܢܢ ܡܢ ܡܙܡܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܨܦܪܐ ܫܩܠܬ ܟܬܒܐ ܘܢܦܩܬ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܕܢܐ ܕܬܠܬ ܫ̈ܥܝܢ."1 "Une fois je me proposai de monter au monastère de notre Père Zénon (au mont Sinaï) et d’y passer un été, ce que je fis.
