"ܘܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܪܒܥܐ ܒܛܪܝܦܘܠܣ. ܟܕ ܒܩܘܕܡܐ ܩܡ ܦܛܪܘܣ ܘܐܫܟܚܢ ܟܕ ܥܝܪܝܢ ܐܢܚܢܢ ܘܫܐܠ ܒܫܠܡܢ. ܘܢܦܩ ܠܐܬܪܐ ܕܒܗ ܡܝ̈ܐ ܪܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܐܝܟ ܕܢܣܚܐ ܘܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܨܠܐ. ܗܟܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܘܐܦ ܐܢܚܢܢ ܥܒܕܢ."1 "Et le quatrième jour à Tripoli, Pierre, s’étant levé tôt, nous ayant trouvés éveillés et nous ayant salués, sortit vers l’endroit où coulaient les eaux pour se purifier et puis prier; ainsi fîmes-nous, nous aussi."1
