"ܬܘܒ ܕܝܢ ܛܘܒܢܐ ܐܝܣܝܕܘܪܐ ܐܫܬܥܝ ܠܢ. ܕܚܙܝܗܝ ܠܡ ܠܛܠܝܐ ܡܪܝ ܐܘܠܓ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ. ܕܐܢܗܘ ܕܣܝܡܐ ܠܟ ܕܬܗܘܐ ܕܝܪܝܐ ܐܘ ܠܐ."1 "Le bienheureux Isidore nous raconta encore qu’il avait vu l’enfant Mâr Euloge et lui avait dit: «As-tu décidé d’être moine ou non?»"1
