"ܘܐܡܪܝܢܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܨܒܐ ܕܢܩܛܘܠ ܠܡܠܟܐ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܐܬܝܠܕ ܘܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥ ܗܘܐ ܐܝܢܐ ܛܠܝܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܫܕܪ ܩܛܠ ܛ̈ܠܝܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܢܩܛܠܝܘܗܝ ܥܡܗܘܢ."1 "Nous disons que parce qu’il voulait tuer le Roi Christ qui était né et parce qu’il ne savait pas quel enfant c’était, il envoya tuer les enfants de Bethléem pour le tuer avec eux."1
