"ܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܕܕܘܟܪܢܐ ܕܣ̈ܗܕܐ ܘܕܡ̈ܘܕܝܢܐ. ܗܿܢܘܢ ܕܒܕܡܐ ܕܩ̈ܠܛܝܗܘܢ ܪܫܝܡܝܢ ܕܘܟܪ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ."1 "C’est le jour de la mémoire des martyrs et des confesseurs, dont les mémoires sont tracées dans le sang de leurs exécutions."1

"ܘܢܫܒܘܩ ܠܚܝ̈ܒܐ ܘܢܚܣܐ ܚ̈ܛܝܐ. ܘܢܣܩ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܟܠܢ. ܘܒܨ̈ܠܘܬܐ ܕܣ̈ܗܕܐ ܕܪܚܡܘܗܝ ܘܒܨ̈ܠܘܬܐ ܕܝܠܕܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܪ̈ܚܡܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܥܠ ܟܠܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ."1 "Qu’il remette aux débiteurs et absolve les pécheurs. Et que de nous tous monte gloire, honneur et action de grâce, et que par les prières des martyrs qui l’ont aimé et par les prières de la Mère de Dieu, que la miséricorde soit sur nous tous pour les siècles.
