“ܕܚܠܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܗܘܬ ܡܛܠ ܐܝܪܘܕܝܣ ܡܠܟܐ. ܘܥܠܬܐ ܕܡܛܬ ܒܗܿ ܡܦܩܬܗ ܕܦܛܪܝܪܟܐ. ܘܡܐܬܝܬܐ ܗܘܬ ܕܢܚܙܐ ܓ̈ܠܝܢܐ ܪܘܪ̈ܒܐ ܘܫܡ̈ܝܢܐ.” 1
“Il y eut une grande crainte à cause du roi Hérode et la cause pour laquelle eut lieu la sortie et la venue du patriarche fut de voir de grandes manifestations célestes.” 1
