"ܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܓܒܪܐ ܚܕ ܕܫܡܗ ܗܘܐ ܝܘܢܟܝܪ. ܕܥܬܝܪ ܗܘܐ ܣܓܝ ܒܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ. ܘܡܩܪܒ ܗܘܐ ܩܘܪ̈ܒܢܘܗܝ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܒܐܥܦܐ. ܘܐܡܿܪ ܗܘܐ ܒܢܦܫܗ ܕܗܢܐ ܝܬܝܪܐ ܕܡܩܪܒ ܐܢܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ."1 "Il y avait un homme du nom de Yônakîr qui était très pieux et offrait ses offrandes au Seigneur en double quantité; il se disait: «Que ce surplus que j’offre soit pour tout le peuple."1
