"ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܛܘܒܢܐ̣. ܒܥܘܡܪܐ ܕܩܕܝܫܐ ܪܒܢ ܗܘܪܡܝܙܕ ܐܬܬܠܡܕ. ܘܚܕ ܡܢ ܬܠܡܝ̈ܕܘܗܝ ܕܪܒܢ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ."1 "Ce bienheureux fut formé dans le couvent de saint Rabban Hôrmîzd; il fut l’un des disciples de Rabban Jean."1
