"ܗܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܛܘܒܢܐ ܪܒܢ ܝܘܚܢܢ̣. ܡܢ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܡܪܓܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ. ܡܢ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܝܐ ܚܠܦܬܐ."1 "Ce bienheureux Rabban Jean était du pays de Margâ, d’un village appelé Heleftâ."1
