"ܐܝܟ ܐܢܫ ܪܚܿܡ ܡܕܒܪܐ. ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܒܕܘܟܬܐ ܥܒܝܛܬ ܒܟܒܐ ܘܡܬܛܠܠ ܬܚܝܬ ܐ̈ܝܠܢܐ. ܘܚܿܕܐ ܒܒ̈ܢܬ ܩ̈ܠܐ ܫܦܝܪ̈ܬܐ ܕܦܪ̈ܚܬܐ: ܘܒܫܦܝܪܘܬ ܪܕܝܐ ܕܡ̈ܝܐ̣. ܗܟܢܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܿ ܗܘܬ ܠܝ ܬܪܥܝܬܝ ܡܫܝܢܬܐ ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܬ ܩܠܐ ܕܐܘܢܓܠܝܘܢ ܐܙܥܩܬ."1 "Comme quelqu’un qui aime le désert et qui se trouve dans une forêt dense à l’ombre des arbres se réjouit aux chants mélodieux des oiseaux et à la beauté du cours des eaux, ainsi est mon esprit apaisé quand j’ai crié la parole de l’Évangile."1
