“ܫܪܒܐ ܫܦܝܐ ܫܡܝܥ ܠܝ. ܕܡܪܝܡ ܘܕܐܡܪܝܘܗܝ ܪܓܐ ܠܝ. ܒܪܗܿ ܘܡܪܗܿ ܥܕܪܐ ܗܘܝ ܠܝ. ܘܐܗܘܐ ܠܐܡܟ ܡܩܠܣܢܐ.” 1
“J’ai entendu l’histoire pure de Marie et m’est venu le désir de la dire; toi qui es son fils et son Seigneur, sois mon aide et je ferai l’éloge de ta mère.” 1
