"ܐܢܐ ܩܠܡܣ ܐܝܬܝ ܡܢ ܪܗܘܡܐ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܪ̈ܗܘܡܝܐ. ܘܒܩܘܡܬܝ ܩܕܡܝܬܐ ܕܥܠܝܡܘܬܝ ܒܢܟܦܘܬܐ ܘܒܙܗܝܘܬܐ ܐܫܟܚܬ ܕܐܚܐ."1 "Moi, Clément, je suis de Rome, ville des Romains, et dans le premier âge, celui de ma laïcité, j’ai pu vivre dans la chasteté et dans la pureté."1
